Find an Ancient City
/locate structure minecraft:ancient_cityGives the X and Z of the nearest Ancient City; the height shows as ~.

The /locate command finds the nearest structure, biome or point of interest and gives its coordinates and distance. Use it to reach an Ancient City, Trial Chambers or a Cherry Grove without exploring for hours, then click the coordinates to teleport.

For structures the height shows as ~, because only the map position is known: dig or fly to find the right level. Biomes and points of interest come with a full Y. The coordinates in chat are clickable to teleport there.
/locate only searches the dimension you are in. To find a Nether Fortress from the Overworld, run it through /execute in minecraft:the_nether. Several structures have variants: villages are split into village_plains, village_desert and others, so the tag #minecraft:village is easier. Some IDs differ from the names: a Woodland Mansion is mansion, an Ocean Monument monument, Trial Chambers trial_chambers.
poi works best close to you.Once you have the coordinates, /teleport takes you there.
