Warped Forest biome in Minecraft
The Warped Forest is a blue-green forest of huge fungi under a dark purple fog. Apart from Endermen and striders, no mob spawns here, which makes it the calmest biome in the Nether and a popular spot for a base, a portal hub or an Ender Pearl farm. Just keep an eye on the Endermen.

Structures in the Warped Forest
What grows in a Warped Forest
The ground is Warped Nylium, covered with warped roots, Nether Sprouts and small Warped Fungi. Huge fungi rise on trunks of Warped Stem, under caps of Warped Wart Blocks with shroomlight hidden inside. Twisting Vines grow upward from the ground, and you can climb them like a ladder. Blue spores drift through the air. Plant a Warped Fungus on Warped Nylium and use Bone Meal on it to grow a huge fungus of your own.
Why it is the calmest Nether biome
The Enderman is the only mob in this biome's monster spawn list, next to striders on the lava. Ghasts, piglins and hoglins don't spawn here on their own, although ghasts can drift in from neighboring biomes. Since every hostile spawn goes to Endermen, they are frequent, which makes the forest a good place to collect Ender Pearls. Don't look at their heads, or wear a carved pumpkin.
Warped Fungi and striders
Warped Fungi have two practical uses. The Hoglin avoids them, so a few placed around a base or a portal keep hoglins away. Tied to a fishing rod, they make a Warped Fungus on a Stick: saddle a Strider, hold the rod and you can steer it across the lava seas, safe from the heat.
Like crimson wood, warped planks never catch fire, a good choice for a base built next to lava. The netherrack under the nylium holds the usual Nether ores too.

Warped Forest — FAQ
Is the Warped Forest a good place for a Nether base?
Yes. Only Endermen and striders spawn here, so you mostly have to deal with Endermen and the odd ghast drifting in. Build with warped wood, which does not burn.
How do you steer a strider?
Put a saddle on it, then hold a Warped Fungus on a Stick while riding. The strider walks toward where you look and carries you over lava without burning.
Which mobs spawn in the Warped Forest?
Strider and Enderman.
Which structures generate in the Warped Forest?
Bastion Remnant, Nether Fortress and Ruined Portal.
How do you find the Warped Forest?
With cheats on, /locate biome minecraft:warped_forest gives the coordinates of the nearest one. Without cheats, a seed map of your world shows where it is.
