Clément Reynaud (Blockaria) — legal@blockaria.com.

What we collect

Blockaria has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no advertising. We measure audience with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that sets no cookies and does not track you across sites: it only records aggregated data (pages viewed, referring site, country, device type). No cookie consent is therefore required.

Technical logs

Like any website, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical data when you visit (IP address, browser type, requested page or image) to deliver pages and images and protect the site against attacks. Images are served from our image subdomain img.blockaria.com, also hosted by Cloudflare (R2 storage). These logs are kept for a short period by the provider and are not used to profile you. Legal basis: legitimate interest (security and operation of the site).

Local storage

Your browser keeps a few settings on your device only: your light or dark theme, the advancements you tick in the advancement tracker and the materials you tick in a tutorial's "What you need" list. The seed you type in a Chunkbase map and the seed map settings stay in session storage until you close the tab. None of this is sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Third-party content

Fonts are served from our own domain. Catalog icons and screenshots are served from our image subdomain img.blockaria.com, stored with our hosting provider Cloudflare (R2): when the site is built, we copy there the images that creators publish on CurseForge and Modrinth, so displaying a page sends no request to those platforms. Download links and links to the full screenshot galleries take you to CurseForge or Modrinth, whose own privacy policies apply.

Chunkbase maps: on structure, biome and seed pages, the interactive map from Chunkbase loads only when you click to display it. Chunkbase then receives your IP address and the seed shown, and its own privacy policy applies.

Version pages can show the official Minecraft trailer hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click the play button; the video then loads from youtube-nocookie.com (Google Ireland Limited), which receives your IP address and may store cookies or similar data on your device, under Google's privacy policy.

Cape checker: when you check a username, our server sends that username to Mojang's public API (or to PlayerDB if Mojang does not answer) to read the skin and cape. The answer is cached for 5 minutes and is not stored otherwise.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of data concerning you, and object to its processing, by writing to legal@blockaria.com. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in France: the CNIL, cnil.fr).
