Deep Lukewarm Ocean biome in Minecraft
The Deep Lukewarm Ocean is a deep sea of light blue water over sand, with tall seagrass, kelp, tropical fish and pufferfish. Warm Ocean has no deep variant, so this biome also fills the deep parts of tropical seas. It is the warmest biome where an ocean monument can generate, and a good place to tame a nautilus.

Structures in the Deep Lukewarm Ocean
What sets it apart
It is the only deep ocean with a floor of Sand: the other three sit on gravel. Tall seagrass grows thick, along with kelp. The fish are those of the shallow Lukewarm Ocean, tropical fish, pufferfish and cod, joined by squid and Dolphins. Sandstone ocean ruins and shipwrecks lie on the floor, and the suspicious sand of those ruins can give a sniffer egg, just like in shallower warm water.
Where a Warm Ocean gets deep, the coral stops and the game switches to this biome, which is why a reef often ends at the edge of a Deep Lukewarm Ocean.
Taming a nautilus
Nautiluses spawn in every ocean, but this is where the food to tame them is easy to find. A nautilus is tamed with pufferfish, raw or in a bucket, and Pufferfish are common here. Catch one with a water bucket so it can't poison you, then use the Bucket of Pufferfish on the nautilus.
Once it is tamed, put a Saddle on it and ride it underwater. Nautilus armor protects it: shipwreck and ocean ruin chests can hold copper, iron, gold or diamond versions, like the Diamond Nautilus Armor.
The monument on the sand
A Deep Lukewarm Ocean can hold an Ocean Monument, standing on sand among the tall seagrass. Expect Guardians, and elder guardians with their Mining Fatigue. The rewards are the gold blocks in the core and the Wet Sponges of the sponge rooms. Guardians drop prismarine shards and crystals, enough to craft your own sea lanterns.
