Meadow biome in Minecraft
The Meadow is a high, open grassland on the side of mountains, covered in flowers and tall grass. Its lone birch and oak trees each carry a bee nest, donkeys and sheep graze between the flowers, and plains villages can generate on it. It is one of the most pleasant places to build in the mountains.

Structures in the Meadow
Flowers and grass
Meadows are covered in short and tall grass mixed with alliums, azure bluets, cornflowers, dandelions, oxeye daisies and poppies, plus patches of wildflowers. That makes the biome a dye shop: allium gives magenta, cornflower blue, dandelion yellow, poppy red, and azure bluet and oxeye daisy light gray. The ground is ordinary grass, and because the climate is mild, no snow falls on it.
Trees with bee nests
Trees are rare, but every tree that generates in a Meadow is either a tall birch or a large oak with a bee nest attached, home to a few bees. Place a campfire under the nest before harvesting: the smoke calms the bees, so you can collect honeycomb with shears or honey with a glass bottle without being stung. Mine the nest with Silk Touch to move it with its bees inside.
Animals and settlements
Donkeys, sheep and rabbits spawn here. Tamed donkeys can carry a chest, which makes them useful pack animals for long trips. Plains villages and pillager outposts can generate on Meadows, as can the meadow version of the Abandoned Camp. Under the grass, the mountain hides emerald ore, which only generates in mountain and windswept biomes. Meadows often border a Grove, a Cherry Grove or the peaks above, and the mild climate makes them a comfortable stop on a mountain trip.

How do you find the Meadow?
With cheats on, /locate biome minecraft:meadow gives the coordinates of the nearest one. Without cheats, a seed map of your world shows where it is.
