The Blast Furnace smelts ores, raw metals and metal gear twice as fast as a furnace.

It is made with the Crafting Table from 3 × Smooth Stone, 5 × Iron Ingot and Furnace. It is mined with a pickaxe. It gives off light up to level 13, depending on its state.

What it does

Five iron ingots, a Furnace and three Smooth Stone make one. It refuses food and most other items, but halves the time for metal, using fuel twice as fast. Smelting old iron or gold tools in it gives nuggets back. An unemployed villager next to it becomes an armorer.
