Bowl item in Minecraft
The Bowl is the dish of the game's soups and stews: three planks make four bowls, and every stew comes back as an empty bowl once you have eaten it. Bowls stack, stews do not.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 3 × Oak Planks (or another variant). As fuel it burns for 5 seconds in a Furnace, enough to smelt 0.5 items.
What it does
Mushroom stew, beetroot soup, rabbit stew and suspicious stew are all crafted in a bowl. They fill you up well but take a whole slot each, so carrying a few bowls and the ingredients is often lighter than carrying ready stews.
A bowl used on a Mooshroom milks it for a mushroom stew. A brown mooshroom that you have fed a flower gives a suspicious stew instead, with an effect that depends on the flower.
Bowls burn as a small fuel, half an item each. One odd source: a turtle killed by lightning drops a bowl.
