Since 1.20.5, item data goes in square brackets right after the ID: diamond_sword[enchantments={sharpness:5}] or name_tag[custom_name="Boss"]. The old NBT syntax, such as {Enchantments:[...]}, is rejected. Components also go past the levels that /enchant accepts, for example a Diamond Sword with Sharpness 10.
Unknown item 'minecraft:diamnd': the ID is misspelled or does not exist in this version. No player was found: the name or selector matches nobody online.A count above one stack is split into several stacks. Yes. Add the enchantments component after the ID, for example /give @s diamond_sword[enchantments={sharpness:5,unbreaking:3}]. This also works above the normal maximum level.
The items that do not fit are dropped on the ground at the player's position. Nothing is lost as long as someone picks them up.
Type it in the chat with cheats on: /give <targets> <item> [<count>].
Cheats on, or operator level 2.
