Cherry Button block in Minecraft
The Cherry Button is a wooden button: press it and it sends a short redstone pulse to the block it is attached to and to the components around it. Its pink wood comes from the blossoming trees of the cherry grove, and it clicks with the lighter sound of cherry wood instead of the usual wooden click. It works exactly like the other wooden buttons: the Oak Button page explains how.
It is made with the Crafting Table from Cherry Planks. It is mined with an axe. As fuel it burns for 5 seconds in a Furnace, enough to smelt 0.5 items.
