Stripped Oak Wood block in Minecraft
Its bare core is the common oak of forests and plains. Stripped wood is a block of wood without bark on any face.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 4 × Stripped Oak Log. It is mined with an axe. As fuel it burns for 15 seconds in a Furnace, enough to smelt 1.5 items.
What it does
Strip a block of wood with an axe, or craft four stripped logs into three. It gives four planks and, for Overworld woods, smelts into charcoal.
Its smooth, even texture on all sides makes it popular for furniture, floors and beams where bark would look too rough.
