Acacia Sapling block in Minecraft

Present since 1.7.2 or earlier Stack size: 64

This sapling grows into the orange acacia of savannas. Saplings are how you replant trees: put one on grass or dirt and, with light and space, it grows into a full tree. Every sapling grows the same way; the Oak Sapling page explains how.

It cannot be crafted; it can be found in chests. It can be composted: each one has a 30% chance to add a layer to a Composter. As fuel it burns for 5 seconds in a Furnace, enough to smelt 0.5 items.
