Wooden Spear item in Minecraft
The Wooden Spear is a spear, a melee weapon with a longer reach than a sword. It stabs instead of slashing, and charging with it while running or riding turns your speed into damage. Made from planks and a stick, it lasts 59 uses, a cheap way to try the spear's reach early on. It works like every other spear; the Iron Spear page explains reach, charges and the Lunge enchantment.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 2 × Stick and Oak Planks (or another variant). As fuel it burns for 10 seconds in a Furnace, enough to smelt 1 items.
