The Diamond Spear is a spear, a melee weapon with a longer reach than a sword. It stabs instead of slashing, and charging with it while running or riding turns your speed into damage. Made from diamonds, it lasts 1561 uses, hits much harder and can be upgraded to netherite. It works like every other spear; the Iron Spear page explains reach, charges and the Lunge enchantment.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 2 × Stick and Diamond.

The upgrade works on every diamond tool, weapon and armor piece, including the Diamond Hoe, the Diamond Spear, Diamond Horse Armor and Diamond Nautilus Armor.
At the Crafting Table: 2 × Stick and 1 × Diamond give 1 × Diamond Spear. It can be found as loot in Bastion Remnant and End City.
It stabs at long reach and turns running or riding speed into charge damage. It is an ingredient in one recipe: Netherite Spear.
1,561 durability points: each use removes one, and it breaks when none are left. Mending and Unbreaking can extend it.
