Oak Shelf block in Minecraft
Its boards are made of the common oak of forests and plains. A shelf displays up to three items on its front and can swap them with your hotbar.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 6 × Stripped Oak Log. It is mined with an axe. As fuel it burns for 15 seconds in a Furnace, enough to smelt 1.5 items.
What it does
Six stripped logs make six shelves. Click a slot to put the held item on display or take it back. A shelf holds three items in one row, and it can be waterlogged.
Powered by redstone, a shelf changes role: using it swaps its three items with three slots of your hotbar. Up to three powered shelves placed side by side link into one longer row, a quick way to switch whole sets of tools or blocks at once.
