Chiseled Bookshelf block in Minecraft
A Chiseled Bookshelf is a shelf with six slots that holds books you can put in and take out.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 6 × Oak Planks (or another variant) and 3 × Oak Slab (or another variant). It is mined with an axe. As fuel it burns for 15 seconds in a Furnace, enough to smelt 1.5 items.
What it does
Six planks and three wooden slabs make one. It accepts books, enchanted books, written books and books and quills, one per slot. A comparator reads the number of the last slot used, a popular trick for hidden doors.
