Trapped Chest block in Minecraft
A Trapped Chest looks like a chest but sends a redstone signal when it is opened.
It is made with the Crafting Table from Chest and Tripwire Hook. It is mined with an axe. As fuel it burns for 15 seconds in a Furnace, enough to smelt 1.5 items.
What it does
Combine a Chest with a Tripwire Hook. The signal strength grows with the number of players looking inside. Two trapped chests side by side form a double chest, but a trapped chest does not join a normal one. It is the base of traps and secret switches.
