Poplar Slab block in Minecraft
This slab is split from the autumn-colored poplar of dappled forests. Wooden slabs burn in a furnace as a small fuel and can catch fire, unless they come from the Nether. Slabs all work as the Stone Slab page explains.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 3 × Poplar Planks. It is mined with an axe. As fuel it burns for 7.5 seconds in a Furnace, enough to smelt 0.8 items.
