What changes from one biome to the next
- Plains: the classic forge, a Cobblestone room under a Smooth Stone Slab roof, with two Lava sources, Iron Bars and two stacked Furnaces, joined to an oak workshop with a stepped Oak Stairs roof.
- Desert: Cut Sandstone and Smooth Sandstone under a flat roof of Smooth Sandstone Slabs, with a Cobblestone forge, two Lava sources, Iron Bars and two Furnaces.
- Savanna: the longest of the five, Acacia Wood walls and an acacia roof around a Smooth Stone forge that holds one Lava source under Iron Bars, with two Grindstones.
- Taiga: the smallest, a tall cabin of Spruce Logs, Spruce Planks and Cobblestone with Spruce Trapdoor shutters and two Grindstones, and no lava.
- Snowy plains: a Diorite base and walls with Stripped Spruce Logs under a Spruce Slab roof, on snowy ground, with two Lava sources, Iron Bars and Lanterns.
Building tips
Lava sets fire to flammable blocks next to it: build the stone walls of the forge first and pour the lava last, with a Lava Bucket, one bucket per source. The Grindstone is what turns a villager into a Weaponsmith. In a generated village, the chest uses the weaponsmith loot table, which can hold Diamonds, Iron Ingots, iron tools and armor, Obsidian and horse armor. See also the village structure page.

Which weaponsmith is the easiest to build?
The taiga weaponsmith: it has the fewest blocks of the five and no lava to handle.
Does the /place command fill the chest?
The template stores the weaponsmith loot table in the chest, so the chest of a placed weaponsmith gets its loot the first time it is opened.
How many blocks does each weaponsmith need?
Plains: 350, Desert: 262, Savanna: 380, Taiga: 203, Snowy Plains: 313.
Which villager works in the weaponsmith?
The Weaponsmith. A villager without a job takes this profession when it claims a Grindstone, so a Grindstone in a building of your own works just as well.
