The house

Flat roofs, thick light walls and wooden lintels: the ground floor holds the living room with its fireplace on the west, the kitchen in the north bay, the garage on the east and a carport under a pergola. The upper floor sets its three bedrooms back from the edges, so the roofs of the ground floor become walking terraces covered in Grass Blocks, with low parapets, pergolas in Dark Oak Fences and hedges of Oak Leaves. The walls are Sandstone, three blocks high on each level, the windows sit under Dark Oak Planks lintels, the decks are Dark Oak Planks and a flower bed in front of the house gets poppies and daisies.

Build order

  1. Ground. Oak Planks in the rooms, Sandstone in the garage and the two patios, the flower bed and the path to the entrance.
  2. Ground floor. Three rows of Sandstone with the windows in the first two rows and their lintel in the third. Fence posts for the carport, the two-wide staircase towards the south.
  3. Terraces. The fifth layer is the floor of the upper level and of the terraces: planks inside, decks on the balconies, Grass Blocks on the open roofs, then the one-block parapets.
  4. Upper floor. Three more rows of Sandstone, then the grass roof with its parapet one block higher.
  5. Finishing. Pergolas in fences over the patios, hedges, the wooden garage door and the flowers.

Interior

Proposal only: sofas facing the west fireplace with a table and bookshelves in the living room, a worktop along the east wall of the kitchen, storage in the garage, and a bed with a bedside in each of the three bedrooms upstairs.

Credits

Plan by MyGodness & Courfeyracs, from the original article on minecraft.fr. The block choices and the interior are Blockaria's interpretation of that plan and its photos: the floor plan gives the walls, doors and windows, the photos give the heights and the roofs, and everything else is a proposal.

FAQ

Can I build it in survival?

Yes, with one condition: the terraces use Grass Blocks, which only drop with Silk Touch. Without it, place Dirt and let grass spread from a nearby block. The hedges need Shears.

Why are the walls only three blocks high?

The original plan notes that a wall is three blocks and a parapet one block. Low ceilings are part of the adobe look; add a row on each level if you want more headroom.

What can I change?

Smooth Sandstone or Terracotta give a different adobe tone. The grass terraces can also become gravel or wooden decks if you skip Silk Touch.

How many blocks do you need for the Pueblo House?

2198 blocks of 29 types, over 10 layers. The biggest items: 1165 × Sandstone, 350 × Oak Planks, 226 × Grass Block.

How do you place the Pueblo House with a command?

Type /place template blockaria:pueblo_house ~ ~ ~ in a world with cheats on. The build appears with its north-west bottom corner at your position.
