How to breed villagers in Minecraft with a simple breeder
Two villagers, three beds and a small carrot field are enough for a breeder that runs on its own.

A Bed lets you sleep through the night and sets your respawn point. It comes in 16 colors, and the color only changes its look.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 3 × White Wool and 3 × Oak Planks (or another variant) (other recipes also exist).
Sleeping only works at night or during a thunderstorm, and only if no monster is close. Once every player in the Overworld is asleep, the night is skipped and the weather clears. Simply using a Bed during the day also sets your respawn point, without sleeping.
In the Nether and the End, a Bed explodes when you try to use it, with a blast stronger than TNT. Players use this to dig for Ancient Debris or to damage the Ender Dragon, at their own risk.
Landing on a Bed makes you bounce a little and reduces fall damage. In villages, each villager claims a bed, and villagers only breed when free beds are available.
White Dye + Any of #Orange Bed, Magenta Bed → White Bed
3 × White Wool + 3 × Any of #planks → White Bed

Use them to get wood, stone tools and a bed, then sleep as soon as the sun sets.
Some players use beds as charges instead of TNT.
