- Layers 1 to 3, ground floor. Lay the Birch Planks floor, then raise the Cobblestone walls between the Dark Oak Log pillars.
- Layers 4 and 5, first ceiling. Close the ground floor with Dark Oak Slabs, Planks, Stairs and Fences.
- Layers 6 to 13, upper floors. Birch Planks floors in layers 6 and 10, walls of Dark Oak Logs and Planks in between. Layer 13 is a Cobblestone ring with Cobblestone Stairs that carries the platform.
- Layers 14 to 16, lookout platform. The widest Birch Planks floor, the eight Ominous Banners hanging on the sides, then a railing of Dark Oak Fences with a few Cobblestone Walls. The loot chest sits on this level.
- Layers 17 to 21, roof. Dark Oak Log posts hold a wide, flat Dark Oak Planks roof, with four torches under it.
Tips
Check the raw resources list before you start: most of the wood is Dark Oak, so head for a Dark Forest. The Ominous Banner cannot be crafted: plain White Banners work if you do not have one. More about patrols, cages and loot on the pillager outpost page.

FAQ
Can I build this tower in survival?
Yes. Every block can be obtained in survival. The only hard part is the Ominous Banners, carried by patrol and raid captains; replace them with White Banners if needed.
Does the command also place the cages and tents?
No. The command places the watchtower only. The cages, tents and log piles around it are separate pieces of the outpost.
