A Lantern is a torch enclosed in iron, which hangs from ceilings or stands on blocks and gives full light.
It is made with the Crafting Table from Torch and 8 × Iron Nugget. It is mined with a pickaxe. It gives off light level 15.
What it does
Surround a Torch with eight iron nuggets to make one. It gives light level 15, one more than a torch, and can hang under a block or a chain. Mine it with a pickaxe to keep it.
