Get it in your world
/place template blockaria:cottage_house ~ ~ ~Places the build with its north-west bottom corner at your position. Needs cheats (permission level 2).
/place template blockaria:cottage_house ~ ~ ~ clockwise_90Structure file (.nbt) for Java Edition. Put it in saves/<world>/generated/blockaria/structure/, then run the command above or load it with a Structure Block.
The house
Everything is on one level: the bedrooms and the bathroom on the west side, the office and the arched entrance porch on the south, the living room and the dining room in the middle, the kitchen on the east and the double garage at the south-east corner. The walls are Bricks, and the roofs are Smooth Stone laid in full blocks that step in one block per row. A row of Quartz Blocks runs along every eave and under every window, the garage and porch floors are Stone Bricks, the garage doors are Gray Stained Glass Panes and the chimney is Stone Bricks. A patio with low brick walls and a hedge sits behind the house, on the north side.
Build order
- Floors. Bricks under the walls, Oak Planks in the rooms, Stone Bricks in the garage, under the porch and on the north patio.
- Walls. Four rows of Bricks with the windows in the two middle rows on a quartz sill. The living room windows onto the patio run from floor to ceiling.
- Eaves. The fifth layer is the white Quartz ring, one block out from the walls, around every roof volume.
- Roofs. Five volumes: the main body with an east-west ridge, and four wings with their own gables (bedroom, dining room, office with the porch, garage). Build each one up from its eave, stepping in one block per layer, and let the taller one win where they cross. The gables are filled in Bricks.
- Finishing. The brick arch of the porch, the chimney, the garage doors and the hedge.
Interior
Proposal only: a double bed with bedsides and a chest in the first bedroom, a tub and a basin in the bathroom, simple beds in the two other bedrooms, a desk, a chair and bookshelves in the office, a long table in the dining room, sofas around the fireplace in the living room, a worktop along the east wall of the kitchen and a workbench with storage at the back of the garage.
Credits
Plan by Courfeyracs, from the original article on minecraft.fr. The block choices and the interior are Blockaria's interpretation of that plan and its photos: the floor plan gives the walls, doors and windows, the photos give the heights and the roofs, and everything else is a proposal.

FAQ
Can I build it in survival?
Yes, but it takes a lot of bricks: smelt plenty of clay first. Everything else is stone and oak, and only the hedge needs Shears.
How do I keep five roofs lined up?
Place the white eave ring first on every volume: it fixes the footprint of each roof. Then follow the layer views, which already show which slope wins where two roofs meet.
What can I change?
Stone Bricks or Deepslate Tiles instead of Smooth Stone give a darker roof; Terracotta instead of Bricks gives a warmer wall. The office wing is easy to turn into a fourth bedroom.
How many blocks do you need for the Cottage House?
3731 blocks of 26 types, over 16 layers. The biggest items: 1392 × Bricks, 998 × Oak Planks, 847 × Smooth Stone.
How do you place the Cottage House with a command?
Type /place template blockaria:cottage_house ~ ~ ~ in a world with cheats on. The build appears with its north-west bottom corner at your position.
