The house

The central body has two levels: Stone Bricks below, with the entrance hall, the office, the kitchen and the dining room, and a half-timbered floor above, White Concrete between Oak Log posts, with the main bedroom in a jettied south gable, two more bedrooms, a bathroom and a reading corner. The living room with its fireplace is a single-storey wing on the west under a hipped roof; the workshop and the two garages form the east wing, with a half-timbered gable at the end. All the roofs are Spruce Stairs at 45 degrees, the main one hipped with three gables. The garage doors are Gray Stained Glass Panes, the lawn is Grass Blocks and the driveway runs between two hedges.

Build order

  1. Ground. Stone Bricks under the walls, Oak Planks in the rooms, Stone in the garages, Smooth Stone on the driveway and the garage forecourt, Grass Blocks around.
  2. Ground floor. Four rows of Stone Bricks, windows in the middle rows, Oak Log columns where the plan marks them. Build the two hearths with their chimneys and the staircase.
  3. Upper floor. The fifth layer is the floor over the central body, with the beam of the south jetty. Then three rows of timber framing: logs at the corners and between the windows, White Concrete in between.
  4. Roofs. Wings first (two hips at 45 degrees, one stair per row), then the hipped main roof with its three gables: north-west, north-east and the jettied south gable, plus the small gable of the entrance turret. Keep the stairs facing outward.
  5. Finishing. Chimney stacks, garage doors, hedges and the driveway.

Interior

Proposal only: a sofa facing the fire and bookshelves in the living room, a desk in the office, a worktop in the kitchen, a long table in the dining room, and upstairs a bed in each of the three bedrooms, a tub in the bathroom and a reading corner with bookshelves.

Credits

Plan by Courfeyracs, from the original article on minecraft.fr. The block choices and the interior are Blockaria's interpretation of that plan and its photos: the floor plan gives the walls, doors and windows, the photos give the heights and the roofs, and everything else is a proposal.

FAQ

Can I build it in survival?

Yes, but it is a large build: about twenty stacks of Spruce Stairs for the roofs and fourteen of Stone Bricks. The lawn uses Grass Blocks, which need Silk Touch; place Dirt instead and let grass spread.

What makes the half-timbering?

Vertical Oak Logs at the corners and between the windows, White Concrete filling the panels. White Wool or Calcite work too; keep the logs vertical so the bark shows on every side.

What can I change?

Dark Oak Logs give a darker frame, Deepslate Tile Stairs a slate roof. The workshop can become a fourth bedroom or a big kitchen.

How many blocks do you need for the Tudor House?

4423 blocks of 30 types, over 17 layers. The biggest items: 1247 × Spruce Stairs, 889 × Stone Bricks, 591 × Oak Planks.

How do you place the Tudor House with a command?

Type /place template blockaria:tudor_house ~ ~ ~ in a world with cheats on. The build appears with its north-west bottom corner at your position.
