Villager trading in Minecraft: professions, workstations, best trades
Bottles o' Enchanting, Ender Pearls, emeralds for Rotten Flesh

Rotten Flesh is what Zombies, husks, drowned and zombie villagers drop, up to two each. You can eat it in an emergency, but it will most likely give you the Hunger effect, so it is better sold or fed to wolves.
It cannot be crafted; it can be found in chests.
Eating rotten flesh restores four hunger points, but in most cases it also inflicts Hunger for thirty seconds, which drains your food bar faster. Even with that effect, you end up with more food than you lose, which can save you in a pinch.
Tamed wolves eat rotten flesh without any side effect, so it is a free way to heal and breed them. A novice Cleric buys rotten flesh in bulk for emeralds, an easy trade if you run a mob farm.
Rotten flesh also turns up in dungeons, temples and shipwreck supply chests. It cannot be cooked or composted.
This item has no crafting recipe.
