Key takeaways

  • Final 1.14 release: 1.14.4 fixes more than 50 bugs, a memory leak and slow chunk loading at high speed, before 1.15 on 10 December 2019.
  • Villages: villages take their style from their biome, and villagers follow a daily schedule, claim a bed and a work station and trade at prices set by reputation and demand.
  • Raids: killing an illager wearing a banner can give you Bad Omen, and a villager rings the Bell to warn the village of a raid.
  • New mobs: Pandas, Foxes and the Wandering Trader. Cats and Ocelots are separate mobs.
  • New blocks and items: the Crossbow, Bamboo, Scaffolding and functional blocks such as the Stonecutter, the Grindstone and the Bell.
