The Stonecutter cuts stone blocks into slabs, stairs, walls and variants, one block at a time.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 3 × Stone and Iron Ingot. It is mined with a pickaxe.
What it does
Craft it from an Iron Ingot over three Stone. Put a block in and pick the result: a stonecutter often gives a better ratio than the crafting grid, for example one block into one stair instead of six into four. It handles stone, bricks, copper, quartz and more.
An unemployed villager next to it becomes a mason.
