Trial Omen effect in Minecraft

Trial Omen turns the trial spawners around you ominous: they spawn equipped mobs, throw items at you during the fight and drop Ominous Trial Keys for the Ominous Vaults. You get it by walking into Trial Chambers with Bad Omen.

How to get Trial Omen

Drink an Ominous Bottle to get Bad Omen, then approach a Trial Spawner in the Trial Chambers. As soon as a spawner notices you, Bad Omen turns into Trial Omen. Bottles drop from raid captains and also come out of the chambers' own vaults, so one trip often pays for the next.

What changes in ominous mode

Mobs come out wearing armor and holding weapons, and that gear never drops.
During the fight, the spawner drops items onto the players: arrows, fire charges, Wind Charges and lingering potions. Some help you, like Strength or Slow Falling; most do not, like Poison, Slowness or Infestation.
A cleared spawner ejects either supplies or an Ominous Trial Key.

Why it is worth it

The key opens an Ominous Vault. These vaults have the best rewards of the chambers: the Heavy Core you need for a Mace, Enchanted Golden Apples, diamond blocks and the Wind Burst book. Come with full armor, a shield, food and Golden Apples. Do not drink milk once you are inside: a Milk Bucket erases Trial Omen along with everything else.
