Nausea effect in Minecraft
Nausea makes your screen wobble and warp. It does nothing to your health or your controls: it is purely visual. You get it from eating a Pufferfish or Suspicious Stew made with a Closed Eyeblossom.

- Pufferfish. Eating one gives Nausea together with Hunger and a strong Poison: the worst meal in the game. A live Pufferfish only poisons you when it puffs up; it does not give Nausea.
- Suspicious Stew made with a Closed Eyeblossom. Eyeblossoms grow in the Pale Garden; they stay closed by day and open at night, and the open flower gives Blindness instead.
Is Nausea dangerous?
Not by itself. The warped view makes jumping, bridging and aiming harder, so stop moving near cliffs and lava until it passes. In a fight, back off rather than swing blindly.
How to remove or reduce it
A Milk Bucket clears it at once. If the wobble makes you feel unwell, lower the Distortion Effects slider in the Accessibility settings: it tones down the on-screen distortion of Nausea, and of Nether portals too.
The simplest cure is not to eat Pufferfish. Use them to tame a Nautilus or to brew a Potion of Water Breathing instead.
