Enchanting table at level 30: the bookshelf setup
An enchanting table offers level 30 enchantments only with 15 bookshelves around it, placed by exact rules.

The Enchanting Table lets you spend experience levels and Lapis Lazuli to enchant tools, weapons, armor and books. Bookshelves placed around it unlock stronger enchantments.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 4 × Obsidian, Book and 2 × Diamond. It is mined with a pickaxe. It gives off light level 7.
Place an unenchanted item and some Lapis Lazuli in the table: it offers three enchantments. Each offer shows the level you need to have, but only takes one, two or three levels and as many pieces of lapis. Hovering over an offer shows one of the enchantments you will get; the item may receive more. Enchanting a Book gives an Enchanted Book that you can apply later at an Anvil.
On its own, the table only offers weak enchantments. Up to 15 Bookshelves placed two blocks away, with an empty block between them and the table, raise the best offer to level 30. Nothing may stand in that gap, not even a torch or a carpet.
Some enchantments never appear at the table, such as Mending, and have to be found as enchanted books or bought from Librarians.
Book + 2 × Diamond + 4 × Obsidian → Enchanting Table
