Golden Axe item in Minecraft
The Golden Axe is an axe: the tool that cuts wood fastest, and a heavy weapon that hits harder than a sword of the same material but swings slower. Made from gold ingots, it chops faster than any other axe and takes enchantments best, but it breaks after only 32 uses. It works like every other axe; the Iron Axe page explains stripping, scraping and shield breaking.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 2 × Stick and 3 × Gold Ingot.
