Create mod in Minecraft: build your first machine and contraption
Almost every early Create block uses Andesite Alloy.

Andesite is a plain gray stone with a slightly speckled texture, found in big pockets underground and in mountains. It looks close to cobblestone but smoother, and it is a favorite filler for paths, foundations and roofs.
It is made with the Crafting Table from Diorite and Cobblestone. It is mined with a pickaxe.
Natural pockets give plenty of it, but one diorite with one cobblestone also crafts two andesite. It mines with any pickaxe and drops itself, no Silk Touch needed.
Four andesite make four Polished Andesite, a cleaner gray block. Andesite has slabs, stairs and walls, and polished andesite has slabs and stairs; a Stonecutter produces them all. Mixed with stone, cobblestone and gravel, andesite helps break up large gray surfaces so they look less flat.
Like diorite and granite, andesite sells to a journeyman Mason for emeralds.
Diorite + Cobblestone → 2 × Andesite
// Slots with several items cycle through every accepted option.
Almost every early Create block uses Andesite Alloy.
At the Crafting Table: 1 × Diorite and 1 × Cobblestone give 2 × Andesite. Mining the block drops it. Bought by Villager: Mason (Journeyman).
It is a neutral gray building stone, polished into polished andesite. It is an ingredient in 6 recipes, made at the Stonecutter and Crafting Table; for example Polished Andesite, Polished Andesite Slab and Polished Andesite Stairs.
The fastest tool is the pickaxe.
Placed under a Note Block, Andesite gives the Bass drum sound.
