Polished Andesite block in Minecraft
Polished Andesite is Andesite turned a smooth light gray. Polishing removes the speckles of a raw stone and gives a clean, even surface.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 4 × Andesite (other recipes also exist). It is mined with a pickaxe.
What it does
Four raw blocks in a square give four polished blocks, and a Stonecutter turns one into one. Polishing changes only the look: the block mines, resists and drops like the raw stone. Each polished stone has its own slabs and stairs, and some also have walls.
Polished blocks are great for floors, trims and the borders of paths, where the raw stone would look too busy.
