Golden Shovel item in Minecraft
The Golden Shovel is a shovel, the digging tool for soft ground: dirt, grass, sand, gravel, clay, snow and soul sand. It also flattens grass into paths and puts out campfires. Made from a gold ingot, it digs fastest of all and enchants best, but it breaks after 32 uses. It works like every other shovel; the Iron Shovel page explains paths, snow and enchantments.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 2 × Stick and Gold Ingot.
