Each colored candle comes from a plain candle combined with one of the sixteen dyes; only candles of the same color share a block. It works exactly like a plain candle. The Candle page explains how candles light, group and decorate cakes.

It is made with the Crafting Table from Candle and White Dye. It gives off light up to level 12, depending on its state.
