Copy a build next door
/clone 0 64 0 10 70 10 20 64 0Copies the area from 0 64 0 to 10 70 10 so that its lower corner lands at 20 64 0.

/clone copies every block of a cuboid to another place, with its states and contents. It can skip air, copy only one kind of block, move instead of copy, and even work between dimensions. Builders use it to duplicate houses, rooms and machines.
/clone <begin> <end> (<destination>|to)/clone from <sourceDimension> <begin> <end> (<destination>|to)| Argument | Expects | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| begin | Block coordinates (x y z) | First corner of the source area, absolute or relative coordinates. |
| end | Block coordinates (x y z) | Opposite corner of the source area. Both corners are part of the copy. |
| destination | Block coordinates (x y z) | Lower north-west corner of the copy, the corner with the smallest X, Y and Z. |
| filteroptional | Block test | After filtered: block ID or tag to copy, for example minecraft:stone or #minecraft:logs. |
| targetDimension | Dimension | Dimension that receives the copy, after to, such as minecraft:overworld. |

/clone ~-5 ~-1 ~-5 ~5 ~5 ~5 ~20 ~-1 ~-5 maskedCopies the blocks around you 20 blocks east and skips air, so nothing at the destination is erased.

begin and end are two opposite corners of the source. destination is the lower north-west corner of the copy, the one with the smallest X, Y and Z. Like /fill, one command handles at most 32,768 blocks by default, set by max_block_modifications, and both areas must be loaded.
replace (default): copies every block, air included.masked: skips air, so the copy blends into what is already there.filtered: copies only the blocks matching a filter. Then normal, force or move. Without force, overlapping areas fail with "The source and destination areas cannot overlap". move leaves air behind. strict places the copy without block updates.
Container contents are copied, so a Chest arrives with its items. Entities are not: an Item Frame, an Armor Stand or a mob stays behind. For larger builds, save them with a Structure Block and load them with /place. Between dimensions, write from and to, as in the last example.

Yes. Block entities such as chests, furnaces and signs keep their contents in the copy. Mobs, item frames and armor stands are not copied.
The source and the destination share some blocks. Add force to allow it, or pick a destination further away.
Type it in the chat with cheats on: /clone <begin> <end> (<destination>|to).
