Open Eyeblossom block in Minecraft
The Open Eyeblossom is the night form of the eyeblossom from the Pale Garden. When darkness falls, the flower opens to show a glowing orange eye, and it closes again at sunrise.
It can be composted: each one has a 65% chance to add a layer to a Composter.
What it does
An open eyeblossom growing on pale moss makes a faint ambient sound, and a small burst of particles marks the moment a flower opens or closes. Picked while open, the flower keeps its open look in your inventory and changes back with the time of day once replanted.
Crafted on its own, an open eyeblossom gives one Orange Dye, unlike the closed form, which gives gray. In a suspicious stew it causes several seconds of blindness.
Unlike the closed bud, the open flower attracts bees, but a bee that visits one comes away briefly poisoned. It fits in a flower pot and composts like any flower.
