The Bucket of Tropical Fish keeps the fish's pattern and colors, shown in its tooltip, and it is what axolotls are bred with. This bucket holds a small water mob together with its water.

What it does

Use a Water Bucket on the mob to scoop it up. Emptying the bucket places the water and releases the mob, which then never despawns, so buckets are the way to fill aquariums and move water mobs around.

The mob keeps its data inside the bucket, such as its variant or name, and a Dispenser can empty the bucket too. The bucket holds one mob at a time and does not stack.
