Ocean Monument Map: sold by Journeyman cartographers, it leads to the guardians' underwater temple. An explorer map is a ready-made map that leads to one kind of structure, shown on it with its own icon.
What it does
Hold it to see the land around the target and your own position; the marked spot is the nearest such structure to where the map was traded or found. Cartographer villagers sell most explorer maps for emeralds and a Compass, and the hidden chests of abandoned camps contain several others.
Like a normal map, an explorer map can be copied with Empty Maps in a crafting grid, so a group can share one trip. It cannot be zoomed out, though: only a Map can.
