Density enchantment in Minecraft
Density makes a mace's smash attack hit harder the further you fall: +0.5 damage per level for every block fallen, so +2.5 per block with Density V. It is the mace's pure damage enchantment and pairs naturally with Wind Burst.

A mace smash happens when you hit a mob while falling. The mace already adds damage based on the height of the fall, and Density stacks its own bonus on every block of it. A long drop with Density V can take down strong mobs in one hit, while a hit on flat ground gets nothing from the enchantment.
To gain height: jump from a ledge or a pillar, throw a wind charge at your feet, or let Wind Burst bounce you back up after each smash.
Density or Breach?
They share an exclusive group with Smite and Bane of Arthropods, so a mace carries only one. Density is raw damage and the better pick against most mobs, which wear little or no armor. Breach lowers the target's armor, which pays off against players in diamond or netherite gear.
Where to get it
Besides the usual sources, the rare reward pool of an ominous vault in the Trial Chambers can give a book with Density or Breach. The mace itself is crafted from a heavy core and a breeze rod. The best mace enchantments build is Density V, Wind Burst III, Fire Aspect II, Unbreaking III and Mending.
