Your first night in Minecraft, then the first 10 hours
Later on, 3 Hay Bales make 4 Straw Beds.

The Straw Bed is a makeshift bed of hay that lets you sleep through the night once.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 3 × Hay Bale. It is mined with a hoe. It can be composted: each one has a 85% chance to add a layer to a Composter.
Three hay bales in a row make four straw beds, and abandoned camps keep some in their barrels. Sleeping in one at night skips the night like a normal bed, but it never sets your respawn point, and it falls apart when you get up.
It is the light option for long trips: skip a night far from home without moving your spawn.
