How to make hidden doors in Minecraft
Dig 2 blocks under the doorway floor and place a Sticky Piston facing up (layer 2 of the plan).

A Sticky Piston pushes a block like a piston and pulls it back when it retracts.
It is made with the Crafting Table from Piston and Slimeball. It is mined with a pickaxe.
A Slimeball on a Piston makes one. It moves up to twelve blocks in a line and pulls back the block touching its face, which is what hidden doors, bridges and flying machines rely on. Some blocks, such as obsidian or glazed terracotta, cannot be pulled.
Slimeball + Piston → Sticky Piston

On each side, one block away from the doorway, stack two Sticky Pistons with their heads facing the doorway (layers 4 and 5).
