Potent Sulfur block in Minecraft
Potent Sulfur is a reactive form of sulfur that either releases a nauseating gas or, under water, feeds a geyser.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 9 × Sulfur. It is mined with a pickaxe.
What it does
Nine Sulfur blocks craft one, and it also forms in the pools of the Sulfur Caves. With no water source right above it, the block stays dry and gives off a noxious gas: living creatures within three blocks that it can see get Nausea for a few seconds.
Put a water source on top, up to four blocks deep, and the block turns into a geyser that goes through quiet and erupting phases, launching players and mobs upward through the water. Pistons cannot move it, so a geyser stays where you built it.
