Worn, the Creeper Head halves the distance at which creepers notice you, and with Paper it crafts the Creeper Charge pattern. Mob heads are decorative blocks you can place on the ground or a wall, or wear on your own head.
What it does
Most heads drop when the explosion of a charged Creeper kills the matching mob, and only one per charged creeper. Worn in the helmet slot, a head gives no protection, but some make their mob notice you at only half the distance.
A head placed on top of a Note Block makes it play the sound of that mob. In a Firework Star, any head gives a creeper-face explosion. Heads also turn to sixteen angles when placed on the ground, which makes them nice trophies and statues.
