Free Minecraft capes from Twitch and TikTok drops

Since 2024, Mojang has handed out several capes to people who simply watch Minecraft streams. Each campaign runs for a limited time, but they all follow the same pattern.

1. Mojang announces the cape and the dates, usually on minecraft.net and Minecraft's social accounts.
2. You watch any eligible Minecraft stream for the required time while signed in: between three and fifteen minutes depending on the campaign and the platform.
3. The platform gives you a code once the watch time is reached.
4. You redeem the code on minecraft.net/redeem before it expires.

Pick a stream in the Minecraft category, or the category named in the announcement, with Drops enabled. Keep the stream playing in an open tab; muting it is fine. When the drop is complete, claim it in your Twitch Drops inventory and copy the code it shows.

Open a Minecraft LIVE that shows the game rewards banner and stay until the reward unlocks. Some campaigns also asked viewers to comment, such as typing "minecraft" in the chat for the Follower's Cape. The code appears in your LIVE rewards.

Codes from stream campaigns expire, sometimes only two weeks after the campaign ends. Redeem yours right away: how to redeem a cape code.

• Link your Twitch or TikTok account in advance and check that rewards are available in your country.
• Follow Minecraft's announcements: campaigns are usually revealed a few days before they start.
• Check the Minecraft capes list, which shows every cape you can still get.
