How the timeout works

A player who neither moves nor acts for the set time is disconnected with You have been idle for too long!. The server confirms a new value with The player idle timeout is now 15 minute(s). It frees slots on a full server; on a small server between friends, a long value or 0 is often more comfortable, since AFK farms need someone to stay online.

Disconnected players can come back right away, as with /kick. Check who is online with /list.
