Sunflower block in Minecraft
The Sunflower grows only in sunflower plains, and its face always looks east, a handy compass; it gives Yellow Dye. It is a tall flower, two blocks high, that gives two dyes at a time. All tall flowers work the same; the Lilac page explains them.
It can be composted: each one has a 65% chance to add a layer to a Composter.

Can a piston move Sunflower?
No: when a piston pushes it, it breaks and drops as an item.

Yes: fire can spread to it and destroy it, and lava nearby can set it alight.
