How to get, grow and ride a Happy Ghast in Minecraft
8 Ghast Tears around 1 Soul Sand in a Crafting Table.

Soul Sand is a dark sand of the Nether that slows down anything walking on it.
It cannot be crafted; it can be found in chests. It is mined with a shovel.
It covers soul sand valleys and lines Nether fortresses. Under water it creates a bubble column that pushes players and items upward, the base of water elevators. Nether Wart only grows on it, and four of it in a T with three wither skeleton skulls summon the Wither.
Fire on soul sand turns into blue soul fire, and soul torches and campfires use it in their recipe.
This item has no crafting recipe.
