The Slime Block makes you bounce: jump or fall on it and you are thrown back up without taking fall damage. With pistons, it also drags the blocks stuck to it, which is how flying machines work.
It is made with the Crafting Table from 9 × Slimeball.
What it does
The higher you fall, the higher you bounce, and each bounce loses a little height. Sneak before landing if you want to stop on it instead. Mobs and items bounce too.
When a Piston pushes or pulls a Slime Block, all the blocks touching it move as well, up to the piston's limit of 12 blocks. Combined with Observers, this builds machines that move across the world by themselves.
Craft it from nine Slimeballs and turn it back into nine at any time.
