Red Mushroom Block block in Minecraft
The Red Mushroom Block is the red, white-spotted cap. Mushroom blocks make up huge mushrooms, which grow when you use bone meal on a mushroom.
It is mined with an axe and drops Red Mushroom. It can be composted: each one has a 85% chance to add a layer to a Composter.
What it does
Use Bone Meal on a red or brown mushroom with enough room above and it can grow into a huge mushroom made of a stem and a cap. Mushroom fields and dark forests have them naturally.
Broken without Silk Touch, a cap block drops up to two small mushrooms, which makes huge mushrooms a mushroom farm; with Silk Touch you keep the block itself. Caps placed next to each other hide the faces they share, which builders use for smooth surfaces.
